College at a Working Cattle Ranch is different then any college you may have ever been to. It is a way for an individual, to get to experience ranch life , learning as you go. Ride your horse or one of the ranch horses. Stay in your own trailer,( with electrical hookups) or for those with no trailer you can stay local lodging in El Dorado. To get the most out of your experience , you will be doing exactly what a rancher does everyday. The boss lays out the day, of what needs to get done for that day. Check out Typical day page for what you can expect to  be doing on the ranch for a day. Scheduled Events will tell the dates that are set for the College or other events. Fulfill your dream of being a cowboy. Improve your riding skills & horsemanship. Learn how to handle cattle. You can learn all aspects of cattle work: gathering, sorting ,cutting, driving, working the pens, helping in the chutes and roping. Bring your horse or use a ranch horse.

 

 

 

 

$120 per day- Ride one day or the whole week

Includes: full day instructions, horse pen, trailer elec. hookup , pitch a tent and two meals. Extra cost for a ranch horse, the ranch camper or local lodging. See Guest Information page for the extra cost.
